Project Ukraine 2/30

The poem in it's beautiful entirety can be found here: []

As I fondly remember it from On Combat:

I shall not die alone, alone,
but kin to all the powers,
As merry as the ancient sun
and fighting like the flowers.
How white their steel, how bright their eyes!
I love each laughing knave,
Cry high and bid him welcome to
the banquet of the brave.
Yea, I will bless them as they bend
and love them where they lie,
When on their skulls the sword I swing
falls shattering from the sky.
The hour when death is like a light
and blood is like a rose-
You have have never loved your friends, my friends,
as I shall love my foes.

I DON'T BELIVE THIS IS HAPPENING IN UKRAINE TODAY. Protesters are shot down. This is so sad. I don't understand politic but this what has happened in Ukraine sucks. How can a big country kill its own citizens ?

Wow! I really admire what you are doing here! Bravo! the Ukrainian people need a strong advocate and a voice on are definitely doing this...and without asking for money. I will be following your postings...know that I am walking along side of you...even though I don't have the time to post for project Ukraine each day. btw, your poem says a lot about combat.
