Ducks on a Frozen Pond

In the midst of our winter blast, I took a walk around the neighborhood. The duck pond was beautiful, but pitiful at the same time. The poor little creatures were hungry, and I don't know why I didn't bring any bread with me. They were coming toward me, like I had something to offer. I felt so bad!!

He saw that I wasn't going to offer him anything, and turned his back and walked away. :(

They all look to be not much more than babies!!

Great shots! And I feel bad for the hungry ducks as well. Maybe someone came along and fed them :)

      That's a great set - but a sad story - winter's a hard time for lots of creatures, I guess. Really like #1 - it's a lovely shot!
