After having a severly harsh, cold, snowy spring this year (our last snow was March 28th) and being really late to start a decent garden, we decided to drop a few seeds and see how things go. So far, so good!! After we had those really hot 90+ degree days last week, things are going great. This coming year, we are going to embark on a big compost bin, and my husband is going to build up some garden beds along the fence. Next year, I will plant a lot more, and will even be planting some loose leaf lettuce, spinach, etc in big deck bins. I will also plant a lot more herbs in herb boxes.

Bush (green) beans. Ignore the grass clippings that got spewn in there from the edging *sigh*.

I might actually get some green beans this year!

Zucchini!! I love zucchini. I hope this produces enough, cause I can't get enough of this stuff, any ole way you fix it.

Cilantro. I use a ton of this stuff in the summer, and I have several plants going. I love this stuff! Next year, these will be in the herb boxes.

Slowly, but surely (but to be fair, these weren't planted until I got back from Texas, almost 2 weeks after everything else) here are the cucumber plants.

Look at this baby jalepeno pepper!! It's only about a half inch, but it's coming!! It's so cute :)

And finally, the tomatoes are sprouting out.
are you going to share with me?
