Thanks to my PB buddy Melissa, who posted this recipe on her blog, I really wanted to give these a try. They are super easy, yet look like you spent all day!!
8oz cream cheese (room temp)
1 pound bag of Oreos (don't get double stuff)
1 pound of milk or dark chocolate (I'm using chips, easier to melt)
1/2 pound of white chocolate (again, I used the white chips)

Mmm, mmm, heavenly, rich, goodness. They melt in your mouth!

Grind a 1 pound bag of Oreos in a food processor. Be sure not to use the double stuffed. For a different flavor, you could use the mint stuffed Oreos.

Once it's a fine powder, it's ready for the cream cheese.

Add an 8 oz package of cream cheese, and process.

Once it's all mixed and in a gooey lump consistency, form into balls, and place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet. Chill for 45 minutes.
(I didn't have wax paper, so I used my stone).

Melt chocolate over a double boiler. (I used the microwave per the directions on the package). Melt until smooth and creamy.

With a slotted spoon, dip each ball into the chocolate. Let excess chocolate fall from the spoon, then gently push the ball onto the cookie sheet (I warn you, this is a messy process, and I remelted the chocolate half way through to keep it from being too thick).

While those are setting up, melt the white chocolate. Drizzle over the balls. I put the melted white chocolate into a baggie, and cut a small hole in the corner, and did it that way. You can use whatever method works best for you. If using the mint Oreos, tint the white chocolate green. Let set up to a hard shell.
thanks for really good post ! I'll try these for shure :)
