New Home, part III

The front of the house.

The back yard. This lot is over 12,000 square feet, over a quarter of an acre. Beyond the yard is a large green belt.

View from the back yard. (That shiny thing is a mirror, which the owner will get out of there.)

This area is in the back, and originally that porch back there was the only part covered, and the patio area was all open. But, being Texas, the whole area was covered (which makes it seem odd to have a porch back there, with a sliding glass door leading into the hallway), and the sliding door to the left is the master bedroom, and to the right is the living room. We have a little french cafe table and two chairs that will be perfect for morning coffee. I want to paint that whole area something light and bright (that blue is depressing). Eventually we will probably screen that whole area in, because mosquitos are a problem in that area, and we ARE situated between 2 small lakes.) I think that could be a very cute area once it's spruced up!

We have a nice community pool two blocks down the road, with a HUGE park full of park toys and large old trees. One of the lakes is across the street.

My daughter is our realtor, and this was her post. As you can see, we are between two little lakes, and there is the pool!
