Halsnøy x Art Class x Nature

Word.
So, just got back from 5 days in Halsnøy, on the Westcoast of Norway. I was invited to help out, inspire, mess around, on a few art projects they had going on for that week.
Amazing place: Halsnøy island, beautiful natural surroundings, alot of water, islands, mountains, trees… kind of reminded me of a cross between the isles off of Phuket Thailand and the South of France… Go figure :)
Despite the excessive rain, I managed to get around, and the hospitality of my host John Cunningham and family was immensely appreciated!
What was really cool to see was how the kids in the project gradually got a feel for the spraypaint, and started messing around, and get more adventurous and skilled.
A good trip!
Peace

Sunnhorland Høgskule, Halsnøy

Dreary day but beautiful area

Now this REALLY brought be back to my old boarding school days :) Cozy cold and simple; great stuff! Even started re-reaing “The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe” lol

The students getting busy with their sketches

Trying to get them to just make some simple letters… Not an easy task

John himself! Thanks again for everything

Inside of this HUGE crane I later painted in…

Crazy rust surfaces

Inside abandoned silo

Boat repair…

Crap piece but cool location

The students getting into the spraying

Just for fun, cardboard and mtn94

This dude had obviously worked with spraypaint before ;)

MTN 94, best can in the world hands down…! I said it.
