New Lens

Recently upgraded to the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II, took the opportunity after work one day to hustle over to Lake Wingra here in Madison to capture the last remnants of light, and test out my new lens.

Lake Wingra - 24mm, f/11, 1/160

Frozen Cats Tail - 47mm, f/2.8, 1/400

Dock Entering Ice - 24mm, f/2.8, 1/160

Canoe Resting for the Winter - 50mm, f/2.8, 1/160

Love #1! How is that lens working out for you? I've thought about moving to it before. I love my Canon 24-105 f4 L lens.

I love it, had a chance to shoot a few hundred frames with it yesterday, and it just keeps getting better. Having the f/2.8 is a major improvement.
