I have been on a childhood kick recently, so today I made Sara wear the bow. We went down to the picnic tables, where she fed Oreos to my bunny, and then I made her stand on the edge of a creek under a railroad tressle. It reminded me of all of the times when I was little when my family would go camping, and I would run in the woods, playing pretend, until I realized that I didn't know where I was. When you're a child, playing pretend in an unknown area isn't as scary as being lost as an adult is, because you know that the world is good and that somehow you'll find your way home.
