Frog pond images: Turtle & tadpoles

by Jeff Gauthier May. 10, 2008 4491 views

A frog pond in spring. Taken with my k100d and Tamron 70x300mm lens (has a faux-macro capability).

Turtle sunning.

Egg masses.

I don't know if reproduction = mortality for frogs, but both times I have been here in the spring, I have seen frog bodies in the water, not everywhere, but more than one or two.

Teeming mass of tadpoles.
