After a few days of fog, we headed up the hill today to see if we could get above it and see some sunshine. The fog here at De Sabla Reservoir looked like it might break. We patiently waited to see if the sun would shine through….and got a geocache while we waited. Finally….the first blue sky we've seen for days! And an actual shadow! Whose shadow is that taking a picture of me? It was still very cold up here at 2700 feet elevation, but we lingered in the sun for awhile. As we headed back down the mountain, we stopped to grab a geocache and take some time to marvel at the thickness of the fog here at the lookout over Butte Creek Canyon. Maybe the sun will break through to the valley tomorrow.
