Hereford Inlet

Hereford Inlet lighthouse is in North Wildwood NJ. It is a frame house in the Swiss Carpenter Gothic style. We had planned to make make it to this light on Saturday, but instead, it was our first stop on Sunday. There were lines to get into the building, and since Ana and I had already seen it, we grabbed our tokens without climbing. We took a quick look at the beautiful garden and headed north to Absecon.

The lighthouse and grounds.

The gardens are esquisite and beautifully maintained. There are flowers which attract butterfies, especially when the great Monarch Butterfly migration passes by.

Flowers and leaves in the garden.
