One of the main sightseeing of Aswan is a historic market Sharia el Souk. It is a busy place where one can find anything, staring from colourful souvenirs and spices, ending with Aswanians, Nubians and quite a few excited tourist. The places is veiled with the smoke of Shisha, smell of spices and coffee. Either street food or sea food restaurants are highly recommended, as they are part of the authentic local experience.

Streets are filled with locals wearing galabeals and turbans, making place look more distinct.
