Can I play my time?

My kids do not have these games...Adam just wrote a persuasive argument paper about why he should be able to get one...I do not think he won over dad with it though. Makes me think they do not need one. But this gives me ideas to use if we do get them some kid of game system. I'll take any suggestions.

I wonder if it would be a benefit if you assigne specific times for each of them that they can play. They can all tell what time it is - give them a set time each day - maybe even with an alternate time if events don't allow them to get to play at the regularly scheduled time - and then put the responsibility on them to look at the clock to see when it is their time and to play accordingly. Then...if they ask you, they forfeit their time....just a thought...but it would stop them from asking!

We struggle with the "electronic" issues too. Funny though, Joshua my 7 year old never plays anymore. It is Sam, my 4 year old who wants to play. He loves to play Star Wars! Terrible, huh!
