About Pure Abstraction

As Canada's finest pure abstract photographer, I strive to redefine what a lens-based photograph looks like. Gone are the rich details of still photography and the recognizable subjects – people, places and things. I have been creating pure abstractions, or anti-still photography, if you prefer a new name, since 1982. I have had about 20 exhibitions in Canada and the USA. Over 750 of my pure abstract, lens-based photographs are in public and private collections in 5 countries. I have a BSc in biology.
