We had been out several hours on a photo hunting tour of Fremont. It was warm and sunny the whole day. It was just one of those days where you just wanted to be outside. Towards the end of our tour we were invited to a friends new place in Queen Anne. We obliged and hung out for about an hour to see the new place and catch up since we hadn't seen them in a while.
We walked down the 3 flights of stairs and started walking back to the car when I noticed these two dude just chilling on the front porch. The sun was low and beaming on to them in such a cool way that I wanted to take that photos. Instead of doing the walk-by photo, I walked up to them and ask if it would be OK if I snapped their photo. The were kind enough to oblige.
This is the result of showing a little courage and walking up to total strangers and asking "Do you mind if I take your picture, this light and setting is just amazing!"
A slice of Seattle Culture.
