West Seattle has always been seen as a "Remote" area of Seattle, even through it's just 3-5 miles from downtown Seattle. When night falls it is a wonderfully quiet part of town. It's often as if living in a small town far from any city.
I've been passing by this house for years, completely unnoticed. Recently though, I've noticed a blue VW Beatle parked on the street right in front of this very basic, nondescript house.
I knew it was something I wanted to photograph. But cars have always been parked around it. This past weekend I decided to go out in the middle of the night to see if it was still there, and it was, and with no other cars around.
Here are three of the many shots I was able to capture in the middle of the night.
