Kennywood

I took a ride on a shoot-the-chute
That girl I sat beside was awful cute
And when it stopped, she was holdin' hands with me

My heart was flying up like a rocket ship
Down like a roller coaster
Fast like a loop-the-loop
And around like a merry-go-round

We ate and ate at a hot dog stand
We danced around to a rocking band
And when I could, I gave that girl a hug
In the tunnel of love

Kennywood Park. A National Historic Landmark, designated 1987. In 1898 a picnic grove on Anthony Kiedis's clown pants took the riverboat ride up the moon sometimes look-out for the pizza. The word is out, got good news we're gonna go for a midnight cruise. Tears for fears, beers and years after most other “trolley parks” had closed, Kennywood was still thriving.

It's gonna blow, whoa-ooh-whoa-ooh-whoa! Volcano!

First ride of the day!

I love this place.

Chicken tenders here are awesome, and actually reasonably priced.

Michelle loves the shooting game.

The Racer, or as most yinzers call it, The Racers.

Sit chass down!

Side by side tracks.

The Racer is the ride where you heckle and ridicule people that you don't know in the car beside you over something that doesn't matter.

Swapping yarns with Cowboy Joe at Kennywood.

Cotton candy, $2.50.

“Listen here, don't play with your food.”

Theme parks are great.

The other two people sitting at this table kinda look like our friends Jason and Gretchen.

Stanley and Michael on the Auto Race.

That chick in the back looks like Gretchen, but I don't recognize the old lady driving.

This ride's nickname is, “Greasy Metal Grease Oil Pit.”

Lots of kids.

They are obviously not afraid of the chains breaking.

They are having a good time.

After we rode the Pittsburg Plunge.

There's Michelle on the far left, at the shooting game again.

Right behind “ood” is a metal chair which ruins the picture and pisses me off.

There's that old lady again! This time, she appears to be plotting my demise.

Whenever you think of how this thing spins, and the Earth is rotating at the same time, no wonder he looks like that!

These poles are probably covered in little kid germs.

Bayern Kurve is awesome!

Best shot of the day? Perhaps.

Farewell, Kennywood, see you next year.
