This effect is created by zooming the lens during the exposure. You get a slightly different effect depending on whether you zoom in or zoom out. This works better in low light, as you need to have the shutter open long enough to zoom. These are not bad for my first attempt.

      Great job on the zoom effect! We've tried this technique and love how the look can be modified easily by changing the direction of zoom or shutter speed. You did a fantastic job of capturing the light rays.
