We are under a heat advisory, temp has reached 90 degree's and it feels like 100. The plan is to stay inside as much as possible. But figured I can get today's shot when I picked my daughter up from camp. Camera ready, standing outside the Brooklyn Botanical Garden snapping away at the people on line at the Mr. Softee truck. I get several shots and I'm sure I looked at the viewfinder to make sure they are good. I really love the one of the woman walking past with the umbrella. Satisfied I turn off the camera and go about my merry way.
Well if only you could have heard the words that came out of my mouth as I opened the camera to pull out the memory card to upload my pictures. There was no card in the slot. I forgot it put it back when I uploaded this mornings pictures. I was very upset but not enough to go out to the Mr. Softee truck I know is parked a block away at the kiddie park. It's hot out there!
Next best thing, I found a picture I took a few weeks ago of the man that pushes his Italian ice/ice cream cart around the neighborhood. Not the picture I planned to post today, but it fits the theme.
