There are two birds (Light-vented Bulbul [Pycnonotus sinensis]) like to visit my balcony in recent years.
One of them likes singing and I think he is a boy.
The other one is a little fat and I think she is a girl (so, I call her 阿肥 [A-Pui], means obesity in Taiwanese).
Sometimes, they stay on a tree on my balcony at whole night. (Shhh...They are sleeping)
Sometimes, they come my balcony for eating small fruits (ex, red mulberries). (You may be asked to register Facebook).
In spring of this year, I noted A-Pui lost her left foot (an amputation below the ankle). I don't know why.
<The impermanence and strength of life - I have witnessed again>
As usual, A-Pui seems to like to talk to me.
The difference is that today she has lost one foot.
Be careful not to fall, talk to me slowly.
Oops! What happened to your left paw?
Is there a natural enemy or a trap?
She wants to eat fruit but falls down.
It’s okay to stretch.
Don't worry, I will plant more fruits to you.
You can sleep in my home any time if you want.
It’s not easy to survive in the wild. Fortunately the wings are not hurt.
A-pui, You’re not alone!
I sure you can do it.
Several months passing, now, she is alive and seems okay.
