A gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan

He / she has a pair of eyes with serrated pupils.

He / she is the only reptile among common animals on my balcony.
It seems your green oasis becomes well known among the animals...
Get ready for more 'animal-tourists'...
Thank you, Heike.

I like the term "green oasis" that you use.
They say, If gardens and a variety of plants are brought back to the cities, animal species will also come back.
