With both male and female plants on my balcony, paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera) succeeded in flowering, pollinating, and fruiting in the last year. Fortunately, the harvest was achieved in this year also and was even better than that in the last year.
The orange-red fruits are sweet and juicy. They are the favorite desserts of little aviators such as Light-vented Bulbuls (Pycnonotus sinensis) and Japanese white-eyes (Zosterops japonicus). Once they are found out, they will be eaten entirely soon.
