Sunflowers

On the way back from a hike this weekend, we stopped at a little fruit stand that had a huge sunflower patch beside it. The owner had cut a bunch of different access paths through the field and was kind enough to let people walk through for free. Most of the flowers were as tall or taller than me.

Yep, I was surprised to see them so late in the year. But it's still pretty warm in Georgia. Right now we still have highs in the 70s, but this is the time of year when we finally get a break from humidity! clap
