Who says winter lacks color?

I'm not sure if #3 is a type of cherry tree, but apparently unusual weather can trigger cherry trees to bloom at off times of the year. The earliest tree blossoms in this area will usually show up around the end of February, but I've seen a few trees like this one with scattered blooms since November.

#1 all the way. I love the isolation of the subject.

Beauty everywhere, even in Winter. I wonder how it will be in Spring

Indeed! It feels like spring wants to come early this year. Our redbud trees all started blooming this week!

That cabbage is great (so is the shot of it) smile   #3 might be a "wild" cherry tree. If it doesn't carry fruit but does blossom like a cherry tree, it probably is. The one in my girlfriend's garden often blossoms very early too.

That may be. I notice these trees are often in landscaped areas, around office parks etc. Either way, the blossoms are a welcome sight in winter!
