Usually wisteria hangs like bunches of grapes, but this little branch was growing out from the trunk of its host tree almost horizontally.

Never heard of this plant, but not 5 minutes ago saw a Facebook posting from one of my friends showing photos of her back yard and talking about her wisteria plants.  This must be a sign . . .     smile

Yep, it's blooming now so I wouldn't be surprised if you see more pictures of it soon! smile I didn't know what it was until last year when I kept seeing it vining over some trees on the side of the road and finally looked it up. It seems to grow kind of sporadically here, have to hunt for it a little to find it.
