It's been tough to find time this week, and it figures that on the one day I'd set aside to work on this theme, it would start pouring rain about five minutes after I set out. While I was sitting in the car waiting to see if the rain would let up (it didn't), I started watching the raindrops on the windshield and realized, Hey dummy! These raindrops are a perfect subject. Get to work!
Before the rain, I'd tried some intentional camera movement and zoom bursts outside with some flowers, but I didn't have enough time to figure out what I was doing before the rain started. I decided to use camera movement again with the raindrops, and I was much happier with those results.

No movement here, just liked the drops with the green background.
For those of you who pay attention to EXIF data, no, I did not get a new camera. I'm renting one (along with a different lens, which isn't showing up correctly in the data anyway) for some upcoming travel. Today was my first day trying the new combo. So far so good!
A good theme and cool shots!
Thank you! It was fun to try a different kind of shot. Not something I'd usually do.
