[veggie wrap]

[veggie wrap]

lunch today

i notice now the photos are little blurry, but well.. now the food is in my belly, so i can't redo..

[whole wheat wrap]

[whole wheat wrap]

i was testing out a homemade light box i made.. the box itself works well, but i was ill prepared.. forgot the white back board [used a towel], i don't have spot lights bright enough [used a flash light on one side and the open window on the other].. also, the plate glared [find something matte to put food on] and don't be so hungry that the subject gets consumed before clear photos are taken.. [burp]

shrugs.. live and learn.. trial and error.. gives me something to work on..

This looks delicious! How cool that you made your own light box too. I practiced with some food photos this weekend too, and it's always so much harder than I think it will be. There are so many little details to consider!

there really are.. and i might have to alter the light box..  like, do i put more or less tissue paper on, or do i do the top side as well.. anyway, thanks.. and here is the place to experiment..

I think the pictures are fine.
Some tricks
- Have a cold light bulb (#1 cold light coming from the window, and warm light coming from the lamp)
- Glare = use wook, paper towel or something that doesn't reflect light.. Or, use the light for your own good, wich means turn, and move, until the "Meh" glare is gone and the "WOW" glare is there smile Sometimes bending a little bit will do the trick!

I like those pictures! blue heart

You're not silly!
I am.. because I misunderstood what you said (I rushed and I wasn't even hungry)
I thought you were asking for suggestions.

First off ...I want some!!! You can't post photos of food and not have any for your audience. smile
Secondly, until I read some of the issues you ran into, I didn't even notice them, which means you did a very nice job of improvising and capturing ( my opinion) . You know we are our own worst critiques 😊.
The wrap definitely sound good and it's lunch time here, but since I don't have any of the ingredients, I'll have to settle for spinach soup smile
