[adelphi hotel - saratoga new york]

my sister & her friend kidnapped me yesterday for the afternoon.. so i actually got out & about.. [i know.. there is life outside the six acres woods]

while wandering up & down the streets of Saratoga, this building grabbed my attention.. it doesn't really have much history to it, but i liked it..

I'll wager there have been many fascinating things within those walls over the years.....

But do you really want to leave that six acres? ;-)

I did go a hunting to see who built this hotel but you are correct there is very little history except that it was built in 1877. In some ways it reminds me of Flagler College in St. Augustine

Thought maybe it was built by the same guy, but nothing alluding to it. Still looks like a very nice hotel inside and out.

i was hoping there might be some interesting history to it, but none really.. it's pretty, but not like the building in your photos.. that is some intricate structure..
