Good spotting. Do you look for shapes or lines out of place when you are walking? I am a bit curious about that I know it sounds like a stupid question. Sweet shots.

it's not a stupid question.. i spend a lot of time just being still.. and i look for anything to move, or a colour that doesn't fit.. i lucked out with this frog.. :)

Sounds a lot like what I do but I also look for odd shapes like ears are a triangle or a S curve straight lines what not. Also the feeling of being watched helps me realize something is out there. I guess when I say I slow down and pay attention these are the things that I am doing. I have noticed when I was young my father gait (sp) was less likely to spook wildlife in part because of his wooden leg he didn't move like a typical human. I have also noticed that since my back issues that modified my gait that as long as I am walking normal (for me) speed and or slower that I am less likely to spook prey wildlife but unfortunately I have noticed some predators will pay attention to me a bit more.

it's cool you bring up gait.. i do walk softly when i'm in the woods.. it's hard to sneak up on a deer, but i've done it.. and if ya move smooth enough, a lot of times, the animals almost accept a closer proximity..
and interesting, your fathers gait.. true he wouldn't sound typical at all..

then there are the small birds that actually recognize my voice and know that means food.. i always talked to them when i held out my hand with seeds..
