winter [356/365]

winter and i have a romantic relationship.. early in the season, we are in love.. we can't wait to be together.. the first snowfalls always bring awe.. then we start to grow complacent with each other.. joy is still there, but we forget to say hello every morning.. when winter doesn't relent and my toes forget how to be warm, then contempt rolls in.. after our 5 month love affair, we break up and i swear that i'll never miss it, but by august - i can't wait for my old love to return.. and we fall in love all over again..

i was born in the winter and i think it's just in my bones and blood to love this..

Very nice Sherry..really like your "love story" grinning and the photo also of course.  I enjoy all these snow pictures, 'cause it's rare that we here in Tucson get to experience it, so thanks for sharing your beautiful photos...have a great Holiday !

Such a perfect shot, and I love the narrative to go with it. blue heart We barely get three full months of "winter" here, but in Colorado I remember the feeling of " you've overstayed your welcome" when I was freezing my butt off scraping the car AGAIN in May. I'm so glad for your winter photos!

+1+1 I don't have the words to express how I feel after reading this, and I'm not going to try.

I love your relationship!
I remember how I froze to death in 62 degrees weather at the California coast! People mistakenly believe it's a tropical climate and it is not. So,why does 17 degrees in Upstate NY now feel like it's nearly summer and I run around jacketless, but of course, only for a minute! I think that the only reason to love the season beyond its initial beauty is for the fact that it forces us to cozy up indoors and be more creative in other things that might get left behind when we grab a camera and run out the door.
