4/10/17 Since we had a late night last night, we slept in a bit today. We missed breakfast at our hotel but we got going on our museums right away. We went to the Pantheon, and I agree with my mom- it has the best view of the city. You've gotta go on the tour, but they take you to the top, where there is a 360 degree view of Paris. We went on the perfect day because it was gorgeous up there.
We were super hungry so we took advantage of the 'formule' that many places have. For a few euros, we got a panini, nutella crepe and a soda- delich. We continued on to the Cluny Museum and the Orangerie. Jose was sad that he did not see George Clooney, nor any oranges. Tant pis. I was excited because I played around with the panorama feature and got a pretty decent picture of the water lilies.
We met up with some friends from Chicago for dinner tonight at Le Petit Chatelet right by the Seine. I got this great picture from the window by our seats. The meal was fabulous- I would definitely go back. After, we took a walk down a pedestrian street and found a bar called O'Jason's. There was a live band and they played a lot of our favorites, including Sweet Home Chicago by request.
