Just a 5-hour drive from Bangalore, along the road to Kukke Subramanya, One can find the scenic view point that is part of Bisle Ghat. "Ghat" means mountain pass in India and Bisle is part of the picturesque Western ghats of the south. Tucked into a corner off the main curves of the ghats, it is a great destination for a weekend road expedition.
Magnificent vistas of 3 mountain ranges - Yenikallu Betta, Doddabetta & Pushpagiri, and Kumaraparvatha ("betta" and "parvatha" are two words that mean mountain in Kannada) are directly visible from the cantilevered terrace. Early morning fog clouds the horizon; so it's best to wait for the fog to clear before visiting.
