All American Burger -test recipe

Here is a picture of the tester recipe for “All American Burger”.
This is a vegan burger, made with TVP (textured vegetable protein). It was SO delicious!! And has a whoppin' 47 grams of protein.

Remember, this is not beef. It is a vegetarian (vegan) burger.

This burger held up very well.

No, you reconstitute it in veggie broth (or boullion) and it tastes like ground beef, but I think it has more flavor. Ground beef in and of itself is bland. I think it doesn't have a taste, that's why you fix it with broth.

Mmm, that looks really good! What kind of flavor does the TVP have? I know you said the seitan takes on whatever flavor you cook it in, but I still found it to have an odd underlying nutty flavor that I didn't like. Is this like that at all?
