Greens with Hot Garlic Dressing

I went to our local Farmer's Market today, and decided to fix up some of the veggies I bought.

I just steamed up some chard and spinach, to the desired limpness (I don't like mine mushy). 1 1/2 lb mixed tender greens.

Heat 1/3 cup olive oil and 4 cloves of garlic in a small saucepan over moderate heat until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (or other of your choice) and immediately pour over greens. Season with salt and pepper. Serve right away.

Chard and spinach ready to be steamed.

Tossed with the hot garlic dressing.

This is where I got my produce.

This is the garlic I used. I even diced up the stems. They're like green onion stems, and very full of garlicky flavor.

I made this last night! I found some beautious swiss chard at the store the other day and instantly thought of this recipe. Simple, yet so so good!
