Focus definitely made this shot!

Many shots were fired this morning. At least in comparison to my usual day. Before 10 am I had already taken about 20 shots. All of them while sitting at the dining room table.

Blame the light which was of such amazing quality that I had to interrupt breakfast with HC so I could fetch my camera.

This was one of the later shots of this morning. And although there were several I could've posted. This one took home the prize.

Simplicity... contrast... but overall, I think the narrow focus makes the subject pop even more.

This may be another one I print out... HC will perhaps not understand why, but I practice photography for myself... not for others.

May all your mornings be filled with light!

Very nice. On a shot like this l like to use the build in colorselection of Fuji. Just red and the rest b&W.

Now that you mention it... I have not played with that setting! I think I'll see if I can use it and have the cherry be a pretty dark meaty burgundy... see how it looks.
Do you have any photos taken like that you could share?
