Longing for some outdoors time, which I hadn't had much of late, High Command asked me if I wanted to go out for a bit late in the afternoon.

There was still work to be done, the fever was not receding, but there was indeed a need for some air.

The irony of nursing a cold in 37°C weather... what can I say...

So out we went, without destination in mind.

Just stepping out of the house, in jeans, t-shirt and hoodie, was a blessing. The warm damp air did not feel bad at all, after all, a breeze was helping it move along.

We drove down to an outdoors plaza, where some of my favorite stores are (cameras, board games, educational toys, coffee parlor, etc), and sat to sip some tea for a bit. I had a nice hot matcha latte, and while looking at the decor surrounding us, I glimpsed an interesting light / forms combination.

Today's shot is a result, perhaps, of a feverish mind... that decided this looked a bit like an old-fashioned photograph, a mix of straight and curved lines... unidentified objects and contrast.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!
