Anything goes when you're trying out Dim Sum for the first time!

We have a favorite spot we like to visit in town. We've introduced several of our friends to this type of meal, and all of them have come back with us for seconds, thirds, and more...

Part of the fun is being able to try bite-sized dishes that you really have no clue what they will taste like. Some of the attraction of Chinese cuisine is the myriad flavors and textures that you're not accustomed to in Western cuisines. Many of which have no translation to English, which makes them all the more enticing!

So, after many trips to this place, our friends have started creating a mental list of the things they like, the ones they don't and those they want to try the next time.

And I say 'next time' because if you're not careful, you end up ordering much more than you can eat! Be patient, enjoy your food, chat and catch up... that's part of the trick to enjoying a nice long meal without getting a bellyache.

Also, it helps that this place is large enough that the dessert cart does not come around that often!

May you enjoy hearty meals with friends and family!

Indeed! We don't hit this spot every weekend, but we try to at least once a month... it's also a great excuse to catch up with friends and share a meal!
If you're ever in Austin, let me know and we'll take you there!
