Undulating shades of gray

Yet another photo from our morning walks. This plant had already been the subject of a photo, but this time I wanted to capture the character of its shading variation and curved lines.

Also, the few broken segments help reel the image in and disrupt an otherwise organic growth.

I love how you can see similar patterns and curves in many different things... artichokes, shark teeth, water turbulence, pineapples, etc.
