XLS files are all I've seen of late

I mean... it's all in a day's work, but lately it's been nothing but spreadsheets and numbers... talk about being creative...

So this is how my mind feels at the moment... slices of time, mainly days, that go by and start to all look alike from routine.

Yeah... no.

I feel your pain! We are entering budget season at my work ~ like the repetitiveness of your image. What are those, by the way?

Hello Leslie!
That's actually Lotus root the wife was slicing up in preparation for cooking. In case they're not familiar to you, here's a link:

I really like it as it can be crunchy yet tender and can be prepared in many different ways.
Cheers! And hopefully you'll get through it in higher spirits than I did!

Thank you for the link - I had no idea those were Lotus rhizomes! They don't grow here in the Adirondacks smile....maybe next time I visit my sister in Florida, I will coax her into cooking me some! As for work, all will wait until Tuesday. I refuse to think about it 'til then.

We usually  buy them at Asian supermarkets, back in NYC it was pretty easy to get them, here in Austin we're lucky enough to have several in our area.
Cheers!
