chinese caligraphy 2

i start the course number two tonight learning a looser-form caligraphy, which need adding “the flow” (chinese called ‘qi’) to the basic skill learnt in course one

“rhythm, accent, shape & qi” like dancing

here is my first practice, what do you think

      I love it. I could never do that, I still remember calligraphy classes, the teacher didn't like me very much. haha. I can barely read my own writing.

      I'm taking Chinese Brush Painting and know how hard it is to learn the strokes. These look great to me?? my teacher usually corrects our strokes.

      photopoet, totally agree, it is not easy to learn the strokes! the effect varies using different brush / ink / paper.... to learn the "flow " is even difficult ...let's keep goign together!
