Green - My Favorite Color

This is some of the greenery/filler that was in the bouquet I bought. I converted these to b&w and then tinted them back to green and bumped up the contrast a little. #3 has a pop of flash.

I felt a little whimsical tonight until I saw the news. Still…here are some quotes from Anne of Green Gables. Anne was someone I could definitely identify with, what with all the trouble she got in. Except for the part about red hair. :)

“Next to trying and winning, the best thing is trying and failing.”

“It's so easy to be wicked without knowing it, isn't it?”

“I'm not a bit changed–not really. I'm only just pruned down and branched out. The real ME–back here–is just the same.”

“Anne always remembered the silvery, peaceful beauty and fragrant calm of that night. It was the last night before sorrow touched her life; and no life is ever quite the same again when once that cold, sanctifying touch has been laid upon it.”

Great work. They look really pretty, and look almost like some intricate ironwork, galvanised and weathered.

Or maybe that's just me :o)

White for the background is perfect. The compositions, dof and colours are magical. I love the last photo.
