I really appreciate all of your comments and encouragement in yesterday's post.

I have to say that the wrong turn I talked about set me on a path where I met my best friend. And where I met Richard, who inspired me to pick up a camera again. And taught me a lot and loaned me gear and took me with him on photo shoots. I wonder if I would be taking photos like this if I had gone that other route instead?

Maybe it wasn't a wrong turn, just that this was the path I was meant to be on.

Anyway…I was a also a math geek in high school and working in accounting is like working a big math puzzle. So it fits me. :)

By the way, yesterday's bones was my favorite stress reliever - a slinky. I don't know what it is about a slinky but when I see one, I have to pick it up and play with it. :) And who can be stressed when you are playing?

life carries you odd places. i think, though, that as long as you keep scanning the horizon, you discover new routes. that's how it's worked for me.

Maybe it's not the wrong path, but more like taking the scenic route. And I am a huge fan of the slinky. Whenever I see one, I pick it up and start singing to myself.. "It's slinky, slinky.. fun for a girl or a boy".
