I took niece to Dave Matthews Band concert at Jones Beach theater as her 21st bday present. Concert was amazing. Dave is best live. I am feeling the pain today.

View of the ocean from our seats.

Boats in the bay. People who are lucky enough can hear the concert from right on the water.

Opening act. Bluegrass.

The whole venue. Jones Beach Theater is the BEST place I've ever been to hear a concert, no exception.

Let's hear it for the ROADIES!

Hey, what's going on behind the big curtain?

(that's the cover of their new album)

Hey, there's music coming out from behind their now.

Whoosh, there's the band!

That's Dave on the left.

They had these great LCD screens up and the video choreography of each of the band members was fantastic.

The WHOLE band and you can see the HD screens white the only time the whole concert.

The crowd

Dave, 40 feet high.

Everyone singing.

Morning after, NOW made me pancakes. The kids in front of us were smoking “stuff” all night and I had a bit of a contact high hangover.

Wow what an amazing venue. LMAO @ the contact high comment, I've had that at a few concerts as well. And there is nothing wrong with sitting in the nosebleed section, I've done it quite a few times for a great band.

I'm fascinating by the moat history. Seems like it would be way too much work to get the gear over there, never mind the performers!
