My Matisse inspired box came out great.

Really thrilled, just wish I could capture the colors better.

There are some really lovely blues and greens

but it just came out perfect.

This is my favorite side

Love the top too. Have to do a water test.

Beautiful and subtle - just right. I saw it in your avatar and wondered whether that was a piece of yours. Well done!

Gin, it's the lighting in my apartment. I wasn't trying to hard to get the color perfect.

I really like the way some of the figures wrap around on to the different surfaces!

Wow, this is really neat. You are so talented!

As for capturing the colours better - what kind of camera do you have? Can you adjust the white balance manually? If you can't, I find that shooting in all natural light will give the best results colour-wise. Also, placing the object on a white surface will reflect more light back onto it.

Yes slim, it's supposed to be a vase (ikebana style, for one flower or leafy thing). I'm doing a water test to see if it holds water. Or it could be a really cool single pen holder. or reed diffuser. Or doorstop

That is truly a beautiful piece, webs. I'm guessing from the hole in the top that it has a function, but it wouldn't need to to still be lovely.

Thank you so much. I have to say, it makes me happier than anything I've ever done before.
