Every time I try to post these photos it crashes my browser and or computer… doh. first you have to take a motorboat from a random fishing village to the island thing you see in the background and you have to wait until they pick you up and the local fisher men eat all your snacks and invite you to their home… then you take a 10 minute boat ride that is already quite relaxing… then you approach the large Banda that is the main hall where you eat and hang out… then you start relaxing…. lazy lagoon styleee… and watch the sunset!! this is the most awesome sunset I've seen in a long time and then I was relaxing watching the sunset and got a million and one mosquito bites when I was wearing 100% deet… before our snorkeling adventure we hung out on the beach and ate some really good food at the restaurant… did I mention this place is full board with 3 gourmet meals a day!! we got to watch a lot of fishermen… the coolest one was when we saw this fisherman who was snorkeling by us with his net full of fish and squid… I swam away quickly cuz the squid was giving me the stink eye.. coolest shell ever… too bad it was occupied by something squishy. chillin on the beach… then we took a walk at sunset before dinner… me with the resident crazy dogs and the bandas in the background, it was awesome to have a huge banda to ourselves… too bad there was no AC! the dog was acting crazy digging a hole and I couldn't figure out what his problem is… then we saw him take out the little guy below and begin crunching on him.. it was sad… but kinda cool that he found a crab this big!! most of the sand crabs are really tiny so this guy was laying around playing dead for a while and the dog let him go.. then I think either he went back in the sand or something came by and ate him because he disappeared… i almost ate it trying to take this picture, the rocks are not easy to walk on… sam was so lazy he was in his PJ's all day! another beautiful sunset before our 3 course gourmet dinner! while enjoying our bottle of wine and waiting for dinner Sam found a bunch of hermit crabs running around by the side of the deck so he decided to displace them and put them on the deck for our amusement… come to find out they have really good sense of internal GPS because they all walked straight to the edge of the deck and jumped into the sand… weird! my last chance to be lazy!! I loved laying around on this chair, it was my favorite place ever… ever!! so relaxing! we both look very very relaxed. =) this is the inside of the large banda with all the lounging space you can ever dream of… and that is my favorite lounging area… that's the view from the 2nd floor this place is so relaxing even the dogs are lazy!!
