lots of random pictures from Tanzania

sunrise over lake victoria

me at work

transport is hard to find man. The funny thing is the guy at t end with the 2 toned shirt on the right is also holding a bottle of konyagi (Tanzanian cheap gin) in one hand and drinking while holding on with the other.

at the market there are tons of cool things to take pictures of. Unfortunately the Tanzanians are sometimes afraid of taking pictures so you end up with stuff like this.

The B&B I stayed at had a fantastic garden over looking lake victoria. I stayed out on the patio as much as possible.

Kangas at Uhuru Street. I loved bartering in the market for goods. I actually got OK at it by the end… thanks to Christen and Kate.

little animals outside of wonder welders, an organization that employs people with polio to weld and make jewlery. These things are awesome!!

BFF in Dar #2- Said Said in a very small car that I borrowed from my office mate Cat while she was in the US. Driving in TZ is crazy.

Me and my Tanzanian family the Mushi family. they are super duper awesome. I love them.

hanging out at the hip hop studio in Dar… randomly haha. Gotta represent your music all over the world.

flying to Mafia island

LOL the waving bay, it sounds random but this airport was really small and had a dirt runway. lol.

This was the most awesome greeting, way better than the passion fruit juice you get at other hotels. It's a flower inside a flower inside a coconut. yum….

we even had flowers on our beds! super cute

yay beach!!

random sperm?? Not sure how there is a lady sperm but it could happen I guess???

nice butt. haha… on the way to snorkeling

the snorkel spot. It was pretty cold in the water, don't let the color fool you.

ahhh yeah chillaxing at Mafia Island Marine Park

even the dog is relaxed. haha this guy crawled under my chair after I'd been there for a while, I didn't even know he was under there till I felt something hit my chair from under neath.

I love dhows… we've made our peace since the Zanzibar trip.

these guys were awesome, they chilled out steering with his toes and I put on some music on a small speaker and we just sailed out on the boat. It was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon.

sailing through the mangroves

look how clear the water is!! there were these cool flying fish that came out of the water for a really long time. seeing them in this clear water was really cool.

cool coral formations come up and make the base of the islands. Its really neat to see the “under side” of the island

these guys are awesome sailors.
