Resolutions.

So yeah. Here I am, late, running up the front steps and slipping in through the closing doors, barely hanging onto my hat, dropping papers in my haste, and offering half-assed excuses for my tardiness. The best laid plans and all that.

BUT, still, here I am! Another 365 project! And clearly, I don't intend on following the stringent rules I'd set out for myself on my first one (way back in my 365project.org days - with the best "class of" group of friends on the planet).

This project was (as you've probably surmised by now) one of my resolutions. To get back into pushing myself, photographically speaking, and setting out new challenges, as well as connecting with other photographers doing the same. So you may see some experimental "crap" from me in this project. But that's ok. I'm not here to impress anyone. Just maybe, myself.

Today's photo may fit the "crap" bill, but it's what I'm goin' with. As I was typing this out, my daughter called me into the bathroom where she's having her little tub, because she wanted to show me something. This was what she (ever so urgently) needed to show me. Man, I love her <3

Adding a wee edit: I just browsed through the Fresh feed and saw how many posts were titled "Resolutions". And here I thought I was SO ORIGINAL. ;-)

Welcome and good luck! Photos and chats are what it is all about. Funny, great, inspiring or just "crap" shots are what make you - you. Above all enjoy the experience and have FUN.

We can do this. I have a color roll going and it is about to be Canada cold here so who knows when the film will get developed.

Yes! I'm looking forward to your film shots! I think a good portion of mine are going to be "catch-ups" from last year, etc. But I did miss having a platform of sharing my rambling thoughts as well, so that's good. Instagram just doesn't cut it in that department.

I just walked seven blocks each way in like -2 Canadian to drop of film that I thought was a 36 exposure roll of color 400 speed and turned out to be 24 exposure roll of black and white expensive 100 speed.  I had to special order the "push developing" two stops and hope for the best.  I am off to a banner year at this rate.
