A hike in the countryside every now and then is a wonderful way to get some fresh air and replenish one's energy. But when in the mood for something more stimulating, we have enjoyed driving out to small towns nearby and breathing in their "atmosphere" so to say. Definitely a meal or at least a visit to a cafe is included on such day trips from where we can observe the town floating by at its own pace.

Dinkelsbuehl is one such historic German town that we visited which is still surrounded by it's fortified walls and keeping up it's medieval image. Hope you enjoy the novelty of the facades of a few houses/businesses in the town as much as we did.

Dinkelsbühl is definitely on my list for one of these years. But it 'll have to wait till the corona-shit is over and we can attend the Kinderzeche smile
