The image in this post is a coincidence. Naturally. But it does reflect the current quagmire quite accurately as all of us withdraw from public spaces, keep to ourselves and venture out only on-a-need basis.

Well, forget that "all of us" - I do not withdraw from public spaces, try not to keep to myself and venture out as much as possible on a NO need basis -, but is is a nice photo.

Certainly safer than remaining inside with the sick people. There used to be a time when they sent people with lung diseases or breathing problems to sanatoria in the mountains or at least on a lake to get some really fresh air. Now, they lock 'm up behind walls and masks and give instructions to ventilate their homes and get used to not being able to breathe as much as they normally do. Even apart from the fact that we as a kind survived every, even way more contageous, disease until this one without such measures, I tend to go for what has always worked and not for the social experiment. I might die because of that believe, but I (and everyone else) will die anyway. Not being able to live with that knowledge, that is the true sickness of these times. Then again, never mind, it's 8:30 in the morning, and I'm being philosophical to people I don't know at all, while knowing that it doesn't even change anything when I do that to people I do know
Hahaha...it was an interesting read and a fresh perspective. Always open to listening. If we were in a bar with a couple of beers in hand, this wouldn't be the worst of conversations honestly. But that would have to wait. My better half has the veto on anything involving Corona at the moment 
And we don't have any pubs open anymore, so that wouldn't help
