It was rainy today. I was able to get this shot right before it rained harder. I've been to this town many times, but never noticed the monument. The garden is so pretty!

I don't know where this lovely garden  is located, but here is my story, " I found 6 graves of people who perished in the Titanic in my city that I always love to go & see when I'm there."

Oh my gosh Ros!  This sounds like it would be an interesting site to photograph. A tribute of sorts, to say the least.

This monument is located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. smile

Hi Joe -  Each week I get an email update of photos of people I follow, so I try to check each week... I have taken my camera out once this summer, but haven't made posts for a while. The intention is there, but we'll see it comes to fruition! LOL smile

Yea, I think it would make a prettier photo if the sun was out with some fluffy clouds. LOL Thanks Steph!

I wonder if there are plans, in the works, to take it down????
Seems a "big push" to erase much of the past reminders......sigh....

You know, I'm not sure!!!  Good thing I got a photo, if they plan on it. American's seem to tear everything down. I find it fascinating if I meet a building that's stood at least 100 years. Other countries have castles that are hundreds of years old, being restored as needed. lol

Politics infects everything these daze........destruction of the past is the first step in rewriting history, for the "new regime".....

ps..thanks for "liking" "My Son=My Hero" image!

I think they always have infected everything.  ...Politics and religion. Two big topics people feel strongly about. I wish love and kindness was the infection. LOL
